Project Manager

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of interactive projects* – large and small – from inception to completion. You will be expected to deliver quality work – on time, within scope, and on budget. Key to project success is working calmly and effectively with a diverse GS team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating all project activities
  • Organizing and disseminating information to clients and the GS team
  • Facilitating client meetings and providing timely follow-up communication
  • Assuring your clients are satisfied with project work
  • Accountability for profitable projects
  • Assisting in resource planning
  • Developing project proposals/estimates, timelines, budgets, and invoices
  • Working in tandem with other project managers, along with members of our management team

By providing effective communication with your clients and successfully completing projects over time, you will play a major role in developing long-term client relationships. You will also collaborate with our management team to proactively seek ways to expand our client relationships.

As a member of the GS Project Management team, you will help implement and monitor GS project management standards, as well as help refine the GS development process, as needed, to support and improve client relations and projects. You will also participate in new business pitches as requested.

*Although most of your projects will be interactive, you may be called upon to manage strategy, branding, print, or other type of projects as needed by your clients.

Qualifications:

  • 6-plus years of project management or relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated expertise of interactive development processes
  • Demonstrated results in managing projects that are profitable, while growing client revenue at the same time
  • Ability to handle multiple, diverse tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure
  • Ability to successfully lead and manage a diverse team of designers, writers, programmers, strategists, and external vendors
  • Excellent use of verbal and written communication skills
  • Overdeveloped sense of responsibility to your employer and your clients
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Absolute focus on both the details and the big picture
  • Energy, passion, and dedication to quality
  • Confidence but not cockiness
  • Passion for the interactive medium, along with the ability to address your clients’ marketing and technology challenges
