Front End Developer

Front End Developer – a creative thinker who eats new technologies for breakfast and lives to make the web a better place.

Your task will be:

  • Code complex designs that reflect the creative and art direction provided
  • When necessary, make decisions to alter the design in order to create clean code that will be easy to maintain and search engine optimized.
  • Maintain and expand previously existing code
  • Estimate time and scope for projects. Deliver projects on time and within scope
  • Share knowledge and insight with the team

You should possess:

  • Inside-out knowledge of XHTML/HTML5, CSS, XML, JavaScript & AJAX
  • Expertise in W3C compliant, cross-browser compatible, CSS/HTML development
  • Familiarity with upcoming technologies such as CSS3 and HTML5
  • Ability to back up your opinions with examples and test cases
  • A strong knowledge of design basics and principles
  • A pixel-perfect eye for details

Extra credit:

  • Experience with Drupal, WordPress, Django, and other CMS and web frameworks
  • Enough PHP and SQL tricks to be dangerous
  • Experience with SVN, GIT, or other version control systems
  • Experience with Google Analytics; goals, metrics, custom reporting
