SRAM pART PROJECT Recap

The yearlong project GS has been working on for SRAM called the pART PROJECT has come to a successful close.

GS helped SRAM find artists from around the country to participate. We sent them 100 random SRAM parts and challenged them with making a sculpture incorporating some of the parts.

The project culminated with a fundraising event in Chicago in coordination with an online auction of the sculptures. The event and auction benefitted World Bicycle Relief – a charity founded by SRAM Corporation that distributes bicycles to people in need around the world.

The event and auction were extremely successful, raising approximately $120,000 for World Bicycle Relief and garnering press coverage to boost awareness of the organization. Translating dollars into meaning, $120,000 equates to 895 additional bikes in the field and 4,475 lives affected.

SRAM’s pART PROJECT was an inspiring project to be associated with, and GS is very proud to be a part of its success.

....for World Bicycle Relief. We are eternally grateful to GS Design and the magic you wove Andrea. Guests told me they thought they were in Europe or San Fransisco that night. The art looked stunning and the bidders we've heard from are all thrilled with their new pART ART. Let's do it AGAIN!
